INCREASING ACCOUNTABILITY
Until recently the required reporting and control levels could be achieved using internal systems. However, as the company has grown both in size and client base there has been an increasing need to „automate“ procedures and more importantly control costs more effectively. They needed to report how much time was being spent and by whom on every job in order to justify fees and assess how much time was being allocated to different clients and other activities. The processes involved to collate and analyse the data using their internal system became prohibitive.
QUICK PAYBACK
Having implemented the solution 6 months ago PROAD is already offering the company management team a quick return on investment. Real time analysis has allowed them to more effectively control new and on going projects. Clients don’t like surprises and nor do agency managers, so being able to flag additional costs or provide alternatives before it is too late is very important.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SOFTWARE
Having researched other solutions available the final decision was not taken lightly. The difficulty was deciding which one to go for. Given that getting it wrong meant starting again, so a lot of consideration went into choosing the right software and provider at the outset.

“First impressions count. Introducing PROAD in a positive manner to get buy-in is essential. We explained to everyone why we were moving to a new system and the benefits to the company and themselves. We implemented the system at the start of a new financial year and focused on training a selection of key „super users“ within the company. After a period of „bedding-in“ training was then opened up to the remaining staff over a series of short sessions. Importantly, we appointed one person to take responsibility for all on-going training and introducing new people to the solution. Letting PROAD be adopted in a phased approach rather than on a „day 1“ basis allowed training to keep pace with the demands of the business so the data input was correct and match our requirements.”
Momentum decided to go with Clipper One and PROAD, “because it was primarily designed for agencies, works cross platform and integrates with our existing accounting system.”. More specifically, we decided “the time registration tool was the simplest we had seen out of the systems we looked at… helping the PR, client servicing and studio teams to adopt PROAD quickly.”.
